1. About RevvedUp

RevvedUp is an Australian car-culture events platform operated from Australia. We connect car enthusiasts, event organisers, dealerships, and automotive creators. These Terms govern your use of our website and all associated services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account or use RevvedUp. By registering you represent that you meet this requirement. We may terminate accounts of users found to be under 16 without notice.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate and current information when registering.
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorisation.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

4.1 Subscription Tiers

RevvedUp offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and grant access to additional features as described on the Pricing page.

4.2 Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect immediately and your account will be downgraded to the free plan. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused subscription time unless required by applicable law.

4.4 Advertising Bookings

Advertising placements (Hero Takeovers and Calendar Spots) are one-time purchases. Once a campaign has been activated, refunds are only available as described in our Refund Policy. All advertising bookings are subject to our advertising terms presented at checkout.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on RevvedUp (event listings, photos, comments, garage entries, etc.). By posting content you grant RevvedUp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

5.2 Content Standards

You must not post content that:

• Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
• Infringes any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
• Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive
• Contains nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence
• Promotes illegal activity, including street racing or dangerous driving
• Contains spam, advertising, or unsolicited commercial communications
• Introduces malware, viruses, or other harmful code

5.3 Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards or that we consider inappropriate, at our sole discretion, without notice or liability to you.

6. Events

• Event organisers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their event listings and for conducting events safely and lawfully.
• RevvedUp is a listing platform only. We are not an organiser of, and accept no liability for, any events listed on the platform.
• RSVPs on RevvedUp do not constitute tickets or guaranteed entry. Entry conditions are set by the organiser.
• Organisers must comply with all applicable laws including venue permits, public liability insurance requirements, and road traffic laws.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use RevvedUp for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or other users' accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content without our written permission
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or servers
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security or access controls

8. Intellectual Property

The RevvedUp name, logo, and all platform content created by us (excluding user-submitted content) are our intellectual property and may not be used without our written permission. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute our proprietary content for commercial purposes.

9. Third-Party Services

RevvedUp integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments) and Supabase (infrastructure). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

RevvedUp is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not verify the accuracy of event listings submitted by users.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law), we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RevvedUp and its operators, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any direct damages shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or AUD $100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by contract.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RevvedUp and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, your events, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or acted in a way that harms other users or the platform. We will endeavour to notify you unless doing so would compromise an investigation or is otherwise impractical.

You may delete your account at any time via Account Settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days subject to our legal retention obligations. Content posted publicly (e.g. comments on events you did not organise) may remain in anonymised form.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of RevvedUp after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For significant changes we will notify registered users by email.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
