Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar browser storage technologies RevvedUp uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as whether you are logged in. Similar technologies include localStorage (persistent key-value storage) and sessionStorage (storage that clears when you close the browser tab).

2. Cookies & Storage We Use

Name / KeyTypePurposeDurationCategory
sb-*-auth-tokenCookie / localStorageAuthentication — keeps you logged in by storing your JWT access and refresh tokens. Set by Supabase Auth.Session / persistentStrictly Necessary
ru_consentlocalStorageStores your cookie consent preferences so we don't show the banner on every visit.1 yearStrictly Necessary
ru_sidsessionStorageA random UUID used as an anonymous session identifier for analytics (page views, sponsor impressions). Cleared when you close your browser tab. Never linked to your name or email without your consent.Browser sessionAnalytics

We do not use advertising cookies, social-media tracking pixels, or third-party tracking scripts beyond those listed above.

3. Cookie Categories

Strictly Necessary

These cookies are required for the platform to function. They enable authentication, keep your session secure, and remember your consent preferences. You cannot opt out of these cookies while using the platform; if you block them the site will not work correctly.

Analytics

These help us understand how the platform is being used — which pages are visited, how users discover us, and how sponsored content performs. All data is anonymous at the point of collection. You can decline analytics cookies via the cookie consent banner or by contacting us. If declined, ru_sid will not be created and no usage events will be logged.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Supabase

Our database and authentication are provided by Supabase. Supabase Auth sets tokens in your browser's localStorage to keep you signed in. These are strictly necessary for the service to function. Supabase's privacy policy applies: supabase.com/privacy.

Stripe

When you make a payment (advertising bookings or subscriptions) you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Stripe may set their own cookies during this session. These are governed by Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy. RevvedUp does not have access to or control over Stripe's cookies.

5. How to Manage Cookies

Via Our Consent Banner

When you first visit RevvedUp you will see a cookie consent banner. You can accept all cookies or accept only strictly necessary ones. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage (key: ru_consent) which will re-show the banner on your next visit.

Via Your Browser Settings

All modern browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies and storage:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies (Supabase auth tokens) will prevent you from logging in and using the platform.

6. Do We Use Tracking or Advertising Cookies?

No. We do not use any cross-site tracking, advertising networks, retargeting pixels, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar third-party marketing technologies. Our analytics are first-party and session-scoped only.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. For significant changes we will re-show the consent banner to collect fresh consent.
